www.filtamagic.com was created by Ian Brazier part of the founding family of Vax. Who originally introduced vacuum cleaners that also washed carpets in the 1980's. Vax is a top 3 brand in the UK market and sells worldwide.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase online could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. We try and make this as easy as possible for you by showing all items applicable to the model of vacuum cleaner you have. Remember a cleaner home needs a cleaner vacuum! You should change bags and filters often enough to maximise the cleaning performance of your cleaner which will save you time and deliver the best cleaning result.

With our "Buy More and Save" options, we seek to offer you high quality products at the most competitive prices.

After you have finished making your selection(s), click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for your details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and Mastercard via Sage Pay and Paypal via a secure payment server.

We will email you with a confirmation of your order being received.

For orders placed within the UK, payments can also be processed via Cheque or Postal Order.

If you wish to pay with Cheque or Postal Order you will need to make this payable to "Filtamagic" and include your name, address and order number (available on the final screen in the ordering process) on the back of your cheque.

Shipping And Handling

UK ORDERS:
All UK orders are despatched First or Second class via Royal Mail, according to your selection at the time of purchase.

Shipping charges in the UK:
1st class post-£1.50/item ordered
2nd Class post-£1.00/item ordered

NB: For orders of very bulky goods (i.e filters, genuine boxed products) we may apply an additional handling charge of up to £2.00-which you will see as part of the quoted checkout charges. We seek to minimise these charges wherever possible.

In the case of larger UK orders of £30 and over they may be sent via courier on a "next day service", we will notify you in this event.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
We accept and ship orders worldwide, for orders received from outside the UK we despatch by air mail packet post.

Shipping charges to countries in Europe:
Air Mail Packet post-£1.70/item ordered

Shipping charges to Rest of the World:
Air Mail Packet post-£4.00/item ordered

Delivery Schedule

We process your order immediately and despatch it on the same day if the order and confirmation of payment is received before 1700 Monday-Friday (excluding National holidays).

For UK orders sent by 2nd Class post please allow up to 3 to 5 workings for delivery.

For international orders to:
Europe please allow up to 10 working days for delivery.
North America please allow up to 10 working days for delivery.
Australasia please allow up to 15 working days for delivery.

Tax Charges

20.0% VAT is added to all orders.

Credit Card Security

When your order is placed on our website, via the SSL (Secure Socket Layer protocol), credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

All of our products come with a 30 day no quibble guarantee. In the event of a quality problem within 30 days of receipt we will replace the item or offer a full refund.

If there is a quality or technical fault within 12 months of delivery excluding normal fair wear and tear or any form of misuse or abuse.

Returns Policy

There are occassions when you may wish to return an item. We keep this process simple.

IN ALL CASES PLEASE HAVE YOUR ORDER NUMBER AND POSTCODE AVAILABLE.

Unwanted goods, or items ordered in error: To inform us of unwanted items please call 0800 542 5852.

We want you to be delighted with our product(s) and service, but if you change your mind or have ordered the wrong item(s) by mistake and wish to return the goods you should contact our customer service on 0800 542 5852 between 0900-1700 Mon-Fri to obtain an authorisation number which you must then display on the outer packaging of the returned item(s).
Upon receipt we will quality check the item(s) to ensure you have returned them in good order. Upon validation we will refund the money paid for the item(s). Refunds will be processed within 10 days of receiving the returned item(s) using the same form of payment as used to make the original transaction.
In the unlikely event of a problem with the returned item(s) or making a refund to you, we will contact you.

Faulty Goods.

We will respond to your individual circumstances. If there is a quality or technical fault within 12 months of delivery excluding normal fair wear and tear or any form of misuse or abuse, we will normally offer a replacement.
We will always offer you the choice of replacement or full refund in the event the fault occurs within 30 days of delivery.
You should contact our customer service on 0800 542 5852 between 0900-1700 Mon-Fri to obtain an authorisation number which you must then display on the outer packaging of the returned faulty item(s).
Upon receipt we will quality check the item(s) to assess the fault. Upon validation we will then send out FOC replacement(s) or refund the money paid for the item(s) according to your choice. Refunds will be processed within 10 days of receiving the returned item(s) using the same form of payment as used to make the original transaction.

Items received damaged.

We take every measure to ensure all goods shipped are delivered in good condition. However in the event that you receive any item(s) damaged in transit please contact our customer service on 0800 542 5852 within 3 days of receipt and we will arrange for replacement item(s) to be sent to you within 2 days.

Wrong item(s) received v item(s) ordered, or wrong quantity supplied.

We make every effort to ensure you receive the item(s) you ordered. If this is not the case, please contact our customer service on 0800 542 5852 between 0900-1700 Mon-Fri to advise any discrepancies with your order and replacement product will be sent FOCwithin 2 days.
